Starting today instead of tomorrow.

I always liked the idea of starting something today instead of tomorrow. The reason being it's so easy to keep saying "I'll do that tomorrow". Now that all of the holidays are over with and the birthday parties have come to an end...for now... I'm back again at getting healthy! Today I start up again with the "diet" that I was on. I haven't strayed away too much from it but this past week there were two birthday's that were celebrated 3 times! So long story short I ate too much this past week. Do you like starting things right away or do you put it off to a certain day? I know some people that are adamant about starting new things on a Monday or at the start of the week. It's merely a coincidence that I'm starting today, Sunday, it's just how things worked out for me.

I need to have more of certain things prepped when it comes to food. Time to toss the old boiled eggs and make up a much smaller fresh batch. good protien snacks, but these are way too old, as I forgot I had some in there. Anything to have some better options for when I want a snack already made up

My one friend preps every meal and sometimes days in advance. I feel like she spends most of her free time just prepping food and measuring everything so that she knows everything about that particular meal like calories and fat content etc. I know for some people that works really well but I think it's a bit too... obsessive I guess.

Haha, yes that's why I put it in quotation marks as "diet" because I've always been told to not go on diets by many people including doctors, it's supposed to be lifestyle choices/changes.

When it comes to diets, I always believe tomorrow is a better day to start one than today.

It really depends on what else is happening. Should be doing something other than this, but here I am!

I am bad for saying that I will start tomorrow, I want to start fresh on a new day than start something big mid day but I also can be a procrastinator so starting tomorrow doesn't always happen. I'm trying to do better but my lazy half still wins some times!
