Almost Starved to Death Because of a Hitchhiker!

There was a guy standing outside of my apartment today, trying to get a ride. He was standing right by my car. I was starving to death and had nothing decent to eat at home. I wanted to head out to buy some food but being the massive introvert that I am, I couldn't go out because I didn't feel like interacting with the hitch hiker. lol Some days I can handle interactions like that and others, I'm just not in the mood for it. I kept watching until he finally got himself a ride and then I was able to leave to go get myself some food. lol

Oh, I can understand. It was probably best you waited.

It is not a good idea to pick up a hitchhiker. They could be anyone and do anything. I'm glad you got yourself some food.

I agree. I hate that I can't help them, but you never know. I've heard some horror stories...

I think I understand. I used to have that kind of trouble with some people and/or situations. People thought I was weird, but that's just something that at times I couldn't deal with how someone else would handle it.

Exactly! Half the time, I don't even like to call to order pizza! I do it online cause I don't like the interaction! lol

Yeah I will do that too. I avoid interactions when I am not feeling like it. I am an introvert myself.

Sometimes it's just best to keep to ourselves. :-)

I'm the same way. We have a homeless guy living in his car next to the property. Nice guy, and I do say hi, but I still don't like to go outside when he's hanging around.

I don't blame you. It's hard to trust people these days.

I think it is not really safe to give strangers a ride. It's good that you were able to get a food for yourself.

I wouldn't either, if I were you. I'm a bit skeptical when it comes to giving strangers a lift.

I can understand that. I would have waited, too. Happy he caught a ride, and you got to get some food.

Not a good idea, to give a strange man a ride.
