Good morning.Everyone feeling okay. The Old man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. I have been fascinated by this man.Since I was a kid and saw most of his movies. For Whom the Bell Told,Sun also Rise,Farewell to Arms.etc. But I have never ever read any of his books.I wanted to know more about him. I just finished a movie from Netflix.Hemingway in Cuba.This got me going. One book that I heard so much about is The Old man and the Sea. Got the book at the library yesterday. This is one of his finest works.The language is simple. It is about an old Cuban fisherman down on his luck. Do not want to make this long.He played a large part in winning the 1954 Nobel prize in 1954 for Literature. Anyone here Hemingway fan? I have another one a short bio written by his grandson. @amadeo Hemingway's writing style is so pure and spare. One line of it can conjure up a whole world and his stories are so enduring. I've read all he wrote and always reach for him when I need a good read.

I'm a huge Hemingway fan, so much so that we had drinks at the Hemingway Bar in the Ritz Hotel in Paris. I hope the new hotel still has the bar and Collin Field, its bartender. He was the last to see Diana alive.

I've never read this book, but I saw the movie when I was a child. My father really loved this story. It was his favourite movie. Maybe, I'll read it once in the future.

Personally, I have never heard of this one. I have read some of the other ones you mentioned though and they are good writings.
