How many times have we thought wish I was doing that instead of working here? Wish I was in that movie instead of that actor? Wish I was the photographer but alas I am a nurse? Is something stopping us from moving to our dream profession? Do speak on would love to know what's that one thing stopping you from moving to your dream profession?

fear of failure because of that we don't even try to take a risk...we choose a path which looks more secure does'nt matter its our dream job or not

True that. But guess with one anchor safely harboured on current non dream job, we can slowly n steadily start building up the dream empire. What say?

I wanted to be a writer. People wanted me to be other things. Now I'm trying to move forward on that path, though people are still uncertain. It's a shame I didn't get into it 10 years ago like I wanted to.

I am in what I thought was my dream job.... which is great, except that it is a profession that many people believe they can do better. At this point, the shine is slowly leaving my eyes with the thoughts of going to work each day. I want to stay in my position so that I can provide for my family but I am ready to seek other options.

The average person will change their career at least 7 times in a life time. We have to follow our dreams, but also be realistic with their dreams. Instead of wishing to be in a movie, take an acting class or try out for the theatre on your free time. Instead of being a full time photographer, take pictures at random. Dreams take a long time to achieve, we need to take baby steps to get to that point.

Always Have faith in life but do not ever trust it. It just plays by its own way and if anyone is madly passionate bout his/her dream profession then there's only way.. Make a effort to kick start it without any expectations.

I would love to be a Doctor, but don't have the time or money learning it. But I feel fine and there are other things I want to do, that's why I study. Good luck everyone!
