What can I say? My mother is an immigrant to the United States. She had to learn English. I'm the first person on her side of the family to be born in this country. I'm not quite hypocritical enough to say it's time to close the door now.

I live in a country that accepts immigration. I have a mixed blood that is German, Croatian, Italian, Spanish and Peruvian, to name a few. I think that immigration is the best way to keep a population intelligent. Mixed genes does it.

Most people in this country don't have a problem with immigration. It is the illegal immigration that they have a problem with. If a person wants to move to any country -- be it America, Canada, Israel, Japan, or Great Britain, they should do so LEGALLY based on the laws and regulations of the country they wish to become a citizen or resident of.
