Last night Skip and I watched several shows of Parolees and Pit Bulls. I'm so interested in it now that we've rescued Duke, a white Pit Bull.
I was watching how they treated the dogs they rescued ... what kind of leashes they use ... anything to give me tips on making life good for Duke.
I was impressed with the leash that doesn't require a collar. It's a British slip leash. I found it several places on the computer. I will order one in the future. I think that's the best leash to use with a strong Pup.
I was impressed with these people ... compassionate, caring. I watched carefully how they caught dogs who didn't have a home ... by feeding, taking even hours to lure one close enough to put the slip leash on. Once I saw how they used a dog trap (I don't like the word trap ... but, it is what it is). It served the purpose.
I saw how parolees worked with the dogs. They kept the kennels clean, dogs fed. I saw compassion from them. My opinion is that's a good thing ... stray dogs and people who have strayed in life ... love bringing them together. I know it might not be 'perfect' all the time. Love really can conquer anything. Think about it.
This will be a show I will watch often to keep learning about this sweet, loving Pit Bull dog we've rescued, brought into our life. There's no lack of love for this beautiful dog ... I just need to learn all I can to be sure I make his life good while he lives in his 'cloth house'. My goal is to one day ... have him live inside with our other 2 Pups. It may take many months, even a year ... I won't give up.
I wanted to share with you this wonderful show. One of my Friends mentioned the show to me ... I've watched it and now, it's one of my shows to look forward to.

I love this show ... bringing broken people ... broken dogs together. I have great respect for Tia, the woman who is in charge of all ... her family. If I were rich I would contribute to her program.

I am so glad to discover this show. Last night I watched several episodes for the first time. I was learning as I watched. I have no experience with pit bull dogs though, I'm doing good. My Facebook Friends help me ... and I know with all the photos, videos I've put there ... if it was wrong they'd tell me so I could do better.
