Cocunut oil is best for hair growth. I'm not sure if it will reduce grey hair. Oil made from curry leaves if applied on hair would make it look black and dark.

No, it isn't. Hairs turn gray when the cells in their follicles that produce pigmentation stop producing that pigmentation. Using coconut oil won't affect that process.

u sure ? Most of us Indians believe in Coconut to be our saviour when it comes to hair . Can u suggest me the diet or any medical treatment which makes hair follicles to reproduce pigmentation again ?

@addy007 It doesn't exist. Once they stop producing pigmentation, that's it.

I don't understand why you'd want to hide your grey hair. Be proud of it! There's no way to get rid of it except with dye and then you have to keep doing it forever. I personally think grey hair is attractive, it tells me that the person is confident and proud of their years.

here in my country , there is an impression that having grey hair makes you look older and it is not cool . So i have been trying to hide it . My mom keeps telling that i should stop eating junk foods outside , its due to junk food and pollution i get the grey hair

@addy007 I'm sure that junk food and pollution don't help! I could not tell what country you're from but went to your profile and saw your age. Sorry I assumed you were older. I would have been upset at your age, too, if my hair turned grey! I guess you will just have to color it if you really don't want it. I have seen some people, both men and women, who are young and look stunning with grey/white hair. My own nephew was grey before he was 30 and looked very attractive. Good luck, I hope you find a way to deal with it.

I've heard of using coconut oil to prevent premature grey hair but I never try it. My friend recommended aloe vera gel and I am still trying to use it for a week.

Not sure it will reduce the grey hairs, but your hair will be stronger so maybe? It is worth a try!
