Time for me to get to bed, but I wanted to check mylot first and thought I would post one more thing before I went to bed.
I have not seen the movie “The Passion of the Christ” directed by Mel Gibson, and I didn’t know that there was a theater performance with a similar name “The Passion” in 1879.
However, I read something today that I thought was worth sharing.
The theater actor, James O’Neil, who played the role of Jesus in 1879, was arrested by the San Francisco police for impersonating Jesus, when he left the theater, because a city ordinance, at the time, prohibited anyone from impersonating Jesus.
Further, I read that Jim Caviezel, the actor who played Jesus in “The Passion of the Christ,” just a few years ago, was struck by lightning while filming the scene about the Sermon on the Mount.
Who knew?

@franxav I have never heard of such a thing before. Does she see a doctor when these things happen?

@IreneVincent When our Lord Jesus was crucified he suffered five wounds - two on each hands and two on his two feet as he was nailed to the cross. Another wound was made on his chest, when a Roman soldier pierced his side with a spear. Our friend Molly, though a Hindu, loves Jesus so intensely that the Lord has allowed her to suffer like him. She often gets those five bleeding wounds on her hands and feet and on her chest. She also bleeds from her head and forehead because Jesus had been thrust with a crown of thorns on his head.

Just for trivia's sake, James O'Neill was the father of playwright Eugene O'Neill.

Yes, there are usually "behind the scene" stories attached to movies and other sources of entertainment.

I haven't seen either. Sometimes movies or plays don't always get the facts right.
