I didn't know Trump was racist.
I mean, he has a weird opinion about how the world works, but does that make him racist?
White people, when pale, look sick. We don't want to look sick but healthy, so we tan.
I don't, but most white people like to tan. It's the beauty standard here.
Tanning is fine, I'm not sure about turning orange.
Just like in other countries people prefer to have a fair skin.
It's more about self-acceptance than racism, I think. But yours is still an interesting point.

@lizzy9217 I heard different things about what Trump wants.
It seems like he doesn't like muslims because of the actions of few (that's a wrong behavior), but I'm not sure it is extended to all people of color. It shouldn't, as he's from New York and he has plans to make the inner cities better, areas where minorities usually dwell.
Republicans might be racist, but their current leader probably not.

Being a naturally brown person, it has always been puzzling to see the people who hate you for your skin color trying to get darker.

That's pure simple envy.
Facial features also play a role, on a serious note.

@sabtraversa envy? I'm not sure. I did see your post below about wanting to look healthier. That makes sense.

Given his racism I guess we can assume nobody ever told him "Orange is the New Black"...lol? Seriously, there's nothing wrong with a tan, except that it's damaging to the skin if one overdoes it and causes skin cancer, but what he is isn't a normal or natural skin tone.

@Funkrocker I've got tons of nice things to say, just nothing about Trump. I think he's a horrible person. Period.
