San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is reportedly going to opt out of his contract to enter the free agent market in March 2017. Since 49ers general manager Trent Baalke and 49ers head coach Chip Kelly are no longer employed by the football team, the relationship between Kyle Shanahan who is currently the offensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons who is likely to be the new 49ers head coach at the end of Super Bowl 51 will likely be that Shanahan will be searching to work with another quarterback besides Kaepernick in 2017. In my view due to Kaepernick's refusal to stand for the playing of the Star Spangled Banner before football games, he will lucky to find employment with another team in the National Football League in 2017.

He didn't exactly set the NFL on fire last year, either.

He will likely if he finds a job as a backup quarterback with another team in the league that is willing to put up with his antics on the sidelines.

It isn't just his sideline antics but this guy stinks as a QB.

I know what you mean. In the words of the late actor Burgress Meredith from the Rocky Balboa movies "He's a bum."
