3 million people got out to vote...3 million out of 18 million that live here. forgieve me if I say that people leading my country don';t represent me. I pitty those who didn't get out to vote just because they felt that they don't have who to chose...such behavior only causes problems

I understand you. But it seems that the only way to make all people vote is to make it an obligation with fines if they don´t.

I agree...it's a right but at the same time it should be considered an obligation

@swissheart People are lazy by nature. If it´s not an obligation, they prefer a barbecue instead of going to vote.

Then it won't be a Democracy my friend, that is why its a "right" of suffrage not an obligation to vote although in some ways it is

Democracy does not mean that we each have the choice to do what we want. We need to have certain obligations.

it's sad that young people don't express their opinion and simply chose to stay passive

@swissheart yesh sad but that is their choice, Democracy works that way so at times we have a " go out and vote" campaign.

It's a big problem that people don't use their rights properly sometimes....
