Family Day

February 5, 2017 8:17am CST
It's been a while since the last time that our family went out together. It's not all the time that my father comes with us to dine out. Today's one of those days where we came together to eat out. Everyone's busy, that's why. But thank God for Sundays that we get to spend together.

That's great to have a Sunday family dinner. I remember when we were still kids, Sunday lunch time was always family time. Unfortunately, as we grow older and plans are being made on that day, it's not the same anymore. Add to the that that my brother is no longer in the same country with us. I guess when you do start a family of your own, you create your own Sunday routine.

Yes, that's true. Good thing my sister and her family organized that family dinner so we could all get together. It feels good to spend time with mom and dad from time to time.

Cherish the time you have together for someday they might not be around. As the years age on, unfortunately family members pass on and all we have left are treasured memories of our time together.

Exactly. My parents are senior citizens and I guess at their age, the most precious gift that they want is being with their kids and grand kids.

It is good to spend time with your family & eating together is a wonderful way to do so. What kind of places does your family eat at?

I agree with you. We had pizza and pasta at pizza hut. My 6-year old nephew likes it there. Our entire family's pizza lover.
