Why I Don't Talk Politics.....

We have a new President and people are really showing their dislike for him!! It amazes me, because he was voted in over the other party!! They even did several recounts and he won!!!! Most Presidents are given "100 days" before people criticize a new President!!
Also, people don't like that he doesn't want to let every "Tom", "Dick" or "Harry" into our country, because some say that would be racist!! Or people may argue that my great great grandparents were immigrants. NO, my great grandparents were settlers here. On this situation, I guess the mother in me comes out. We lock our doors at night even though we live in a village. It's not necessarily to keep people out, but to keep what is inside safe!!! But with anything, a criminal doesn't follow laws, but it will at least deter those who think they might have "easy" access!!
There's even argument that Trump can't put a ban on immigration, even though other Presidents have because it's in the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952. Besides I like Judge Jeanine Pirro and her professional opinion, in which I am providing a link that you can listen to.
This is why I don't like to talk about politics because I'm speaking from a mother's point of view and it might NOT be acceptable!!

That's another thing that people mention is that it is a "muslim" ban and it's NOT!! The President is just looking out for the safety of the American people. Have people forgotten about 9/11?

@STOUTjodee - especially when supposedly the word "muslem" is not mentioned at all in the executive order. I believe it, as this exec. order was drafted during obamas presidency, he just never signed it, and we all know how he refused to say words such as terrorist and muslim.
I live near a part of the mexican/american border and i dont see them vetting for mexicans, because its also not a travel ban into the u.s.! Its specific to the 7 countries listed on the exec. order.

@enlightenedpsych2 , however this brings me to the point about being a mother. We know that radical Isllams (Muslims) have been terrorists since 9/11. Sure I think anyone if they want to come to our great country should be allowed, but I also think they should show some allegiance to this country before they come here. I would treat my son's friends that stole something from some one as such as well. How do I know they won't steal from me?

Well I kinda like the way he is trying to give more jobs to the citizens of America securing their there welfare.
I hate talking politics not because I view it in any other way but it stress me out, and I hate seeing hypocrite sitting on the government acting as if they really care. I am just too tired of corruptions of money and mind of lots of people. I mean they influence the youth, they have a bigger responsibility to change the nation for the better, but they are just changing only their lives to get richer and get more greedy everyday.

A lot of things changed when I became a mother and my politics was one of those things. I became very conservative in the interest of protecting my children. When I wasn't a parent it was easy to be liberal and say it's okay to do anything as long as you don't hurt someone else, believe in high taxes for social programs, think it was okay to teach a lot of stuff I don't agree with now. Children change everything because you'll do anything to protect them.
I don't know why people hate our new prez so much, maybe it's because they've been through 8 years of that office encouraging class warfare and Trump is wealthy. Or maybe there isn't so much contention as the media would have us think, we know they lie all the time and I don't trust any of them as far as I can throw them and that includes the conservative and well as the liberal media outlets.
I was glad that Trump put a 90 day delay on immigration from those countries. It's high time we got our act together and stopped letting everyone willy-nilly to come over here, overstay their visas, not keep track of them, let them sneak over the border, let people in that hate this country, etc. I don't know why the world is so critical of this--they don't allow just anyone to travel in their countries, either, and most of them are very picky about who they allow to move in. Damned hypocrites is what they are.
