I just recently bought a book called "How to deal with difficult people." Instead of letting those around me get me down I have decided to learn how to deal with them and remain positive and happy in my life. I am looking forward to reading this book. One tip I have for dealing with difficult people is looking at them as people in pain and feeling sorry for them. Do you have any tips on how to deal with difficult people?

I have a lifetime of experience of dealing with myself and have no answers to impart!

I knock them upside their heads and stuff them into a large bag. Tie the knot tightly and then throw them into the well. HAHA! That's how I deal with difficult people in my head.

I always try to help, but if I notice that the person is reticent... I end up moving away.

I think it is the situation/circumstances that makes them difficult.

I do what ever i can to limit my interaction with them. Little to no small talk. Jusr do things like they want. What ever it takes.

Depends! What extent they are difficult with me. But deep down inside these people are sad. Make them laugh if they understand your language else kick them off, if you can.
