My Boyfriend Broke His Leg :(

I just got back from the hospital, and will be leaving again soon to go back. Today at work I got a text from my boyfriend, saying "Broke my leg. In ambulance." At first I thought it was a joke, but as soon as I got on the phone with him I could hear the pain in his voice. It snowed a lot here recently, and he had slipped and fallen on the ice and broke his leg! I left work early, and came straight to the hospital to be with him. His sisters also came, which was very nice of them. He will have to have surgery on his leg tomorrow, so he must stay in the hospital overnight. I'm not happy about this at all. I am scared for him and also selfishly sad that I will have to be without him tonight... I've come home to get some things together for him and to have something to eat. I will be heading back there shortly. Please send your positive vibes his way! Side note: Have you ever broken a leg or any bones? How long was your healing time?
