Do they do burial ceremony in your country?

Today, I'm off work, I'm going for a burial ceremony. It is generally believed here, that burial should be done ceremoniously, that is when the person is old. It is the culture. People will cry, but they will still eat and drink before leaving the ceremony floor. Those related to the deceased will even wear new clothes specially made for the event. In as much as this has been happening for ages, some believed it's a waste of money, I agree with the point too. What's your opinion? What do you think about such culture?

Hindus have cremation, but then there are a lot of rituals carried out and people reunite to remember and celebrate life, which is the irony of the event. If not for anything else, these sad times bring people close after long times of not meeting with each other in our busy schedules.

Yes it's true, the period is also for reflection on one's life, and to remember that one day, it will be over
