You just knew another music countdown was inevitable, so don't bother trying to fight it. Let's party! #10 in my Favorite "Party" Songs series is "Rock and Roll Party in the Streets" by Axe.
Based upon whom you believe, Axe (originally known as "Babyface," not the most macho name for a hard rock band) is either from Texas (Wikipedia,) or Florida (All Music Guide.) Led by guitarist Bobby Barth, Axe, formed in 1979, never quite broke through to mainstream success, despite having toured with heavyweights such as Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Ozzy Osbourne.
From their 1982 album Offering, "Rock and Roll Party in the Streets" is a fun rock and roll anthem that actually did get played on the radio at the time (I know this because I played it occasionally on an anything goes overnight show I did in college, a show on which I played whatever the hell I felt like playing, no matter the genre.) I cannot, however, find any evidence of chart success.
Which is too bad, because, as I said, it's a fun, hard rocking tune. A nice little way to kick off this particular countdown!

that is a good party starter - this is possibly the worst party song ever, Russ Abbott's Atmosphere
Guaranteed to clear any party, this is "funnyman" Russ Abbot's attempt at music. It's enough to make you hunt him down.

Yeah, that was bad. I'm guessing that he's a comedian?

I was unfamiliar with both song and band. A bit of heavy in there. Banging driving beat.

Yeah, it's a little hair metalish.
