Would you open a MOC or MIB collectable?

Would you or would you not open a collectable that is sealed to it's original card or new in it's never opened box, considering it's not sold anymore and will drop in value a lot after opening?
Or you freeing this collectable so you can touch and feel it and put it on display, or will you display it in its box or on it's card? OR, will you put it away savely to avoid any danger of discolouration, etc? Please share!

I don't think that I could open a MOC collectable. To me it just seems wrong. My daughter recied some MOC ponywear and wanted to open it, but I wouldn't let her. Instead I bought her the same set opened.
I ususally don't buy MOC ponies because I know I will want to open them, but regret it later.
