No way!!! I am not that crazy, LOL! I know that is the best day for sales. I used to work retail many years ago and had to work the day after Thanksgiving. I got a first hand look at what it's like and decided I would never do it. I just don't have the patient to deal with all the crowds. I shop all year round and then go about two weeks before Christmas to finish up any last minute shopping I have to do.

It doesnt matter if we still go shopping after the thanksgiving day, as much as we are happy and no problem we can do what ever we do. shopping before or after. What matter is we have something to share in this special day and with happy hearts.

The Friday after Thanksgiving is traditionally called Black Friday referring to the start of yhe Christmas shopping season when people can get the best deals and retailers know they will be in the black financially. Now the Christmas season can start as early as Halloween. Black Friday is also thought to be the busiest shopping day of the year but that is actually the Saturday before Christmas.

To be honest I don't think you could pay me enough to go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. I don't like crowds, I don't like shopping, and I REALLY don't like the two of them together! I know I sound like a grinch, but I would just rather avoid the traffic and headaches. Last year my husband and I shopped at Wal-Mart at 11 pm to avoid the crowds, and it was still pretty busy. But, we had a babysitter and wanted to take advantage of being able to shop together wihout the kids.
