I do not like this new sms text I just want normal text back

On my android lg tribute I can not do a normal text I have use some kind of sim card text or I think it call sms text here the reason I do not like it. when I send a photo for a friend to see that photo google trying to charge a fee for my friends to open it up this is what I do not like. Does any know how can get normal text back in to my lg phone this phone is more confusing. OK that it.text
