Happy Valentine's Day

I believe that most members here are aware that the day for lovers is every 14th of February.
This is fine form those with their special loves, it might be a date that singles avoid or abhor.
When I was younger and had a boyfriend this day was so meaningful. With my then boyfriend, we booked a special restaurant ahead of time, we would hear mass too on that day before eating, watch a movie or just join other lovers and stroll in a park, watch the sunset, etc. my boyfriend would give me some red roses, a piece of jewellery or chocolates. I don't even remember if I gave a gift to my then boyfriend though.

See, so you are one of those lovers who really celebrate Valentine's day, in your younger years. 
I agree. Here in the Philippines, we really celebrate Valentine's day.
Especially for lovers and couples, they really prepare for this day. Some would even send some bouquet of flowers to their love ones.
Hubby used to send me one in our single days and go out to dine in the evening. But when we got married, I told him that we should be practical , so it's only dinner now.

@vickyrose I guess that's because when we are married we are already settled as to whether without or with celebration of Valentine's day, we will still be so happy together.

I remember many times that I was also single at this date...so I bu myself a rose to carry around hahaha!
