I have seen this habit where a mum poses a question concerning her sick child on Facebook expecting to get assistance.I know we get home remedies for many issues on social media platform but it's wrong for anyone to sit down at home and seek for answers concerning a sick child. No one should expect to get a professional doctor on how to go about a sick child.
We are in a virtual world where it's hard to trust just anyone.

It is silly when parents do this, but it is also helpful when people tell them to take that child to the hospital. Parents can only know some much. And seeking professional help is not cheap. If it is something for a cold or a flu, it is fine to ask friends, it is no different than going next door and asking for help. If it seems a little more then yes, go to the hospital. I don't, I feel like it is helpful, but it is also dangerous. Just depends on how bad the condition is with the kid.

@waflay Not really, especially if this person knows what is going on and this isn't there first time. Hospitals around here give a chart of what should be the best time to take a child to the hospital. Because healthcare is expensive and there are so many people.

It depends entirely on the condition and ailment so I think it is subjective and on a case to case basis, so the query should be more specific.
It is always wiser to get professional medical advice nearest especially if it's a pedia case

I agree my friend with you in the end, social advice online cannot replace real medical care.
