Cleveland Browns quarterback coach David Lee who has worked with Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor the last two seasons has expressed interest in working with Taylor if the Bills decide to release him when the free agency season begins next month or a trade can be made. Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson has expressed interest in coaching Taylor since he fits his idea of having a veteran quarterback like Taylor to be his starting quarterback next football season. One more reason that the Browns are interested in having Taylor join their team, the Browns would have the salary to pay him if the Bills decide that Taylor is not worth paying him his salary for the 2017 football season. Time will tell if Taylor will remain with the Bills in 2017 or another football team like the Browns when free agency starts next month. Or as I call it, the merry go round of football players changing teams during the free agency period.

Do professional football players take into consideration the team they might play for or is it basically an issue of how much money they can make? Just curious because I know money is tempting but I would certainly think they would want to play for a team that they could like themselves.

I guess pro football players want to get playing time with a team that needs their services more than thinking that the new team they will play for will be a bum team for many years to come.

That is true. Quarterbacks in Cleveland have reached a high mark since they returned a few years ago.
