Strange Fantasy – 1953 – spoiler alerts A rather silly garish horror story with an overdrawn dominatrix called Madam Satin as the deadly villainess. She runs a health farm where the mud baths have rejuvenational properties that make her virtually immortal and voluptuous. Unfortunately she has to kill rich men to keep her business and access to the mud going. She achieves her aim by letting wealthy industrialists sample a taste of rejuvenation until they sign their money over to her before she drowns them in concrete and buries them. The story ends when her latest victim leads the ghosts of the men she has preyed on over the years to kill her the same way. Not likely to put anyone off staying at a health farm even if read while in the mud-bath treatment rooms. Too tacky and over the top to be remotely effective. Arthur Chappell
