This afternoon I've decided to give the bank a call to check if my card is already available. I called them and shocked to find out that it's there already.
I was going to procrastinate and prefer to get it next week. But Pay-pal had email me twice about updating a new card number.
All they required was two Valid ID and the receipt of the card replacement.
But I was reminded to wait 24 hours to have it activated. I guess that's why the card information wouldn't work when I tried to update the Pay-pal info with this new Card.

Hello @MGjhaud oh, what kind of requirements? all they needed from me back in 2008 was my Valid ID. and 350 pesos. My card was due to expiration but I had it replaced a week before.

Really? That's quite a long time to wait. And they were not able to activate it right away. Hmmmm!
But I heard your bank is the best when it comes to transferring Paypal money compared to other banks.
Congrats that you were able to get it now.

Hello @brokenbee I gave it a shot and it wasn't easy. Other banks requires a ton of fees before transferring it to your bank account / debit card.

@Letranknight2015 Yup, that's my choice 5 years ago. But when they told me that bank required us to present TIN, I looked for another bank which charged P10.00 for every transfer then. Now they increased it to P110. So, if I withdraw from PP an amount below P7,000, I will be charged P160 all in all.

@Letranknight2015 No, what I mean is why did you apply for an EON just now? What have you been using then at PayPal? Your savings account?

Hello @ridingbet Yes I hope the transaction goes well because it's just hard to loose this account that's been around for almost a decade already.

Wow! That's good to hear. But why do you need a new one. I have my rcbc card... And I was not able to use it after I guess two years... Do you think they close that account already?

They will close it if it's the fees are not paid up and if the balance remain zero for more than a year @luisadannointed

do you buy or pay for things online? is that why they require you to get a new eon card?
