Ssshhh ... Don't say a word. No. Ssshhh ... don't even open your mouth. Anything you say can, and will, be used against you. By Facebook. I never really paid much attention to the whole your phone is listening to you malarkey. But two things have happened in the past week which have both amused and panicked me in equal measure. At the weekend I went mattress shopping with Mumsy. A few hours later mattress adverts started appearing on my Facebook thingymajiggy. OhEmGee. And then, not long after having a conversation about Something with Husband, Something started being advertised on my Facebook thingymajiggy. Again, OhEmGee! I'm not overly fussed. I find it creepy, but funny. It simply makes me want to have bizarre and weirdly random conversations with people so that my phone will run to Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook and whisper in their ears all my bizarre and weirdly random desires. Hmmm, tomorrow I must invest in such a conversation with Husband. But what shall I talk about? Hmmm ...

It is interesting how these things really do happen. We have our camera covered with tape and our earphone jacked plugged in!

Do you have tinfoil hats too?! Lolz. I am actually getting paranoid enough now to consider covering the camera so it can't spy on me!

@Poppylicious If the tin foil hats would work, we would try those too. We saw a news program where someone was sharing how easy it is to view you through your computer. Listen to all the conversation in your home, etc. Just creepy.

@poppylicious Diahorrhea is usually a good place to start. Just say the word into the phone and see what happens. It's also a magical word to whisper into the ears of cold callers. Soon puts a stop to them. All 0800 numbers that call me hear that word as soon as I answer and they hang up.

That's quite funny. It must be quite disconcerting to just hear a whisper in your ear when cold-calling someone. I must try that!

I suppose it's no more creepy than my every move being recorded by CCTV cameras!

Omg! My phone knows where I am every time since GPS is turned on. Facebook would even suggest for me to checkin at times. FB would say "Looks like you are in blah blah... check-in and let your friends know..." something like that.
