Day 163 Proverbs 17:24 Proverbs 14:24 Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth. Everyone is wise in their own eyes, even when they’re wrong, they’re right. However, for those who have been down the road and went to the school of hard knocks, they become wise not only in their eyes, but others as well. Solomon didn’t feel he was wise when God asked him what he could give him. Solomon asked for wisdom to rule the nation. Without God’s wisdom to guide him and the understanding that came with that wisdom, Solomon didn’t trust the results, but with God’s wisdom, he even impressed foreign monarchs. When your wisdom comes from God and not from your human thoughts and understanding, you will be wise in every area of your life. You need to trust God and he will lead you where you need to go. That is true wisdom. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (KJV) Who are you trusting? Whose wisdom are you listening to? Let’s pray: Father, help me not to heed my wisdom, but help me rely on your wisdom in everything I do. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen. You should have the wisdom to trust God in your life first above everything else.

I enjoyed your thoughts on Proverbs. Jeremiah 10:23 shows that God didn't give man the capability "to direct his step." We need God's guidance Here's a link you might enjoy:
Was Jesus the Messiah? Consider how Bible prophecies give evidence that Jesus Christ was the promised Messiah.
