When you're sad.

How will you cope up with sadness? Other people tend to feel very awful. They will make themselves helpless. But for some, they will make the best of their strength to feel okay even if it's just for a moment. We cannot get away with such feelings. It will come to us and it's up to us if we harbor them. Stay focus and enjoy life. Photo from google.com

If it isn't something that won't matter to me after a year, I don't dwell on it. Two minutes tops - that's what I spend on feeling sad.

I never found that out. My sadness turned into depression. And I am just running away from it by being busy.

Yes, too much sadness can lead to depression. It's up to the people if they will harbor them. And being busy is one of the possible way to set them aside.

@JustBhem it works temporarily. and when you reach the point where you can't be busy anymore. that is when all things fall apart.

Sadness is an emotion which needs to be accepted just the way we accept happiness.

Sadness is a part of life, just like happiness. We hope it passes quickly, but sometimes it doesn't. I have found that doing nice things for other people helps me feel better. :)

@JustBhem yes, i think i know why you are sad. is it because of your relationship with your mother, whom you describe as insensitive?

It's okay to be sad. It hits us hard sometimes and the more we try the more we feel down. It's okay to be sad -- but not for long. It's just a feeling.

Yes, we cannot get away with sadness. It's been a while I felt this feeling of sadness. What I do is just share it with friends, to talk about stuff. While I am with them I felt at ease then eventually sadness gone.

It is okay to talk about it with someone who understand you. Sharing what you feel somehow feels better.

Sadness is something we all experience at one time or another. Those who can't pull themselves out of it require professional help.
