I've always been into rock especially melodic rock, a genre which nowadays and unfortanately is not so popular like its used to be. I would like to know if there are anyone else who like thsi "old school" style of music? What is your favourite bands and why?

Welcome to mylot! I used to listen to rock more often, nowadays I don't have much time to choose my music so I listen to popular radio stations. It is nice when they put rock songs for a change.

I love rock music like Aerosmith, The Doors, Led Zeppelin. I love the lyrics and the music and many times I felt the pain through the lyrics.
