Do you attend school batch reunions?

I was supposed to attend my high school's grand jubilee homecoming last February 18, but opted not to because I lost my enthusiasm. It's a long drive from our house to the capital city where the reunion was held. Plus, many of my good friends from my class weren't there anyway (because many of them are now based abroad).
Or, perhaps I chickened out because I really don't like big gatherings. It's likely that I'll pop up when small reunions will be organized by my batchmates.
Do you attend class reunions?

That's great! I hope that when I muster enough courage to attend, all I'd think of is having a good time.

@almostoveryou Once you get there you will be fine. I was the same way at the thought of going and a few I didn't go to because I talked myself right out of it but then I regretted it later.

Why are they called 'batch' reunions or 'batchmates' rather than class mates? Is that term common in your country?
I've attended quite a few reunions although not all of them. There will usually be one or two people there that I chummed around with and we're all older now so things are different. You may actually get along with some that weren't in your crowd in school.

Yes, these are the usual terms in our country. Class usually refers to one section and the batch usually refers to all the classes in that level.
I'm hoping I could attend smaller reunions soon rather than the big ones. And yes, who knows, I just might end up getting along with someone I wasn't really close with back then.
