Over the last 20 years, more than 400 former members of Congress have been hired as lobbyists. Dick Armey, Tom Daschle, Tom Foley and Trent Lott have been hired as corporate stooges. If you just identify politicians as lobbyists for corporations, you will be able to keep your sanity. Otherwise, you will continue to fool yourself that they represent you.
