Former Seattle Mariners outfielder Franklin Gutierrez, 33, has signed a one year, $2.6 million dollar contract with $400,000 in incentives.
Gutierrez became a free agent at the end of the 2016 Major League Baseball season when he decided to test the free agent market when Danny Valenicia joined the Mariners via the trade market during the offseason.
Gutierrez will likely be playing a reserve outfielder role with the Dodgers since they have a lot of outfielders on their roster at the start of spring training.

The signing is a puzzler as they have a glut of outfielders. There are rumors that Puig will be moved or some trade going down.
