The King's Indian Defense

A-1 is White's Queen side Rook on a black square = board orientation.
First move for white = Pawn to Queen 4
First move for black = Knight to King Bishop 3 to defend the center
Second move for white = Pawn to Queen Bishop 4
Second move for black = Pawn to King Knight 3 to give room for King's Bishop
Third move for white = Knight to Queen Bishop 3 to allow Queen opening.
Third move for black = King Bishop to King Knight 2 to maintain center control and to allow for the black King to castle on King's side of the chess board.
And the reason I like it is because Bobby Fisher was very fond of this type of defense strategy:
Of course, there is much more than meets the eye. The option for black to castle early in the game may be misleading. And of course the option is there at first. Some players do not remove the side pieces in the early game and end up trapping their King in the middle game. But leaving some doubt of which side the black King might go to in the end game is still open for debate.
I am not an expert player of chess but at one time I thought of chess as in fact, a spectator's sport, for people like myself, who would rather watch and learn, as the game unfolds.

I wish I had someone to play chess with, I miss playing..although I have played against the computer a few times.

Chess dot com lets you join in on the fun. I once played a few games there a very long time back. I no longer do this because I feel very intimidated by the ones there who already know advanced chess moves and therefore make it impossible for me to learn at an intermediate or novice level. Finding a player who is rated the same or better than yourself is often best realized at a chess club near you. For me I was a casual observer of chess at the Dallas Chess Club:
