I had been posting some articles on myLot, about the history of each day on the calendar and then gave up on it, for lack of interest. However, I do think that it's interesting to know about past history. At least, to be reminded of some things once in a while.
I wrote the following, last year, about February 21 so I thought that I would post it again. I'm not sure if that's OK or not, but if not, I guess someone will complain and it will be deleted.
"One thing that happened on February 21st, in 1965, was that Malcolm X, a former Black Muslim leader was shot to death in New York by assassins who were identified as Black Muslims. That was over 50 years ago, but I do remember that.
Being a telephone operator years ago, I was surprised to find this bit of information. The first telephone directory was issued on this date in 1878 by the District Telephone Company of New Haven, Connecticut.
Also on this date, the Washington Monument was dedicated in Washington, D.C. in 1885.
I found a few other things but these were the highlights."
Well, the rain has arrived. I think today will be a good day to take a nap. It's a nice soft rain and it's nice to sleep when it's raining, I think.

Lots of interesting thing happened on this date in history. What you can do I believe is write your new list then just link to your old post. Mylot allows that...Not sure about doing it this way but I am sure someone will tell you if this way is allowed or not.

Thanks for the tip. I will see what happens. But, that makes sense to do it with a link. Thanks again.

I have been to the top of the Washington Monument and walked the steps all the way down. The things one could do in youth.
