Online Buyer Frustrations

Happy Thursday to all! Hppe your day is going well. I know some users on here sell some items on various websites. I do, not very often, but on Craigslist and a Facebook page for my area in the city. I have had mostly good experiences as a buyer but as a seller.... thats another story. Seems like I almost always have an issue or annoyance with selling stuff. For example - I sold my old Samsung Galaxy 3 phone on eBay for $40. Ten days ago. Still waiting for payment from the buyer as of now. Sent an invoice and sent a message. Going to wait a few more days befpre I take action. Second -on this Facebook group - a gal wanted to buy my Columbia jacket for $8. Great. So she has flaked on me three times with an excuse for each. Sadly we only live about 3 blocks apart. Whats up with that? I try to be understanding as of course things come up but really. Seems like there is always something. Do you have similar problems with buying or selling things online?

The Facebook groups are kind of quasi online. Like you post it for sale ans organize when youll meet or pick up and then the exchange happens in person. Where do you sell in real life / offline? Or are you talking more about buying?

I give buyers on Facebook two chances and then I go to the next person in line to buy. I have three lots of books for sale right now but haven't heard anything :-( I am hoping to sell them on there as it's easier and faster then eBay.

@maezee Usually mine sell great as my prices are so low. I think it is because I put these in albums instead of listing then it right one at a time so less people see them when they are put in albums.

I love purchasing stuff online, especially for some unique and hard to find. Thankfully, no bad experience so far.

Payment has seemed to be my biggest issue. But I agree!

I have no experience yet in selling stuff in internet. But if ever, I would do it with my vintage and old things that I have in my collections.

Yes. It can be quite frustrating. I donate lots but occasionally try to sell more expensive items to try to get some of my money back.
