How do you prefer to dress?

I am a casual dresser, I like to wear jeans and jumpers/t shirts and boots/pumps depending on the weather. If I go out I will dress up a bit but I don't have many special outfits because I know I wouldn't wear them. Do you like to dress casually or are you a person who goes all out to impress each day?

@jstory07 I think most of us like to dress casually these days.

I dress pretty casually. I am a substitute teacher and I have to be ready to go outside for recess, teach gym, or get paint splatters during art!

@sprite1950 No, clothes must be sturdy and washable.

@paigea I can imagine. I see the state of some of my granddaughter's teachers at the end of the day!

@averygirl72 I have to feel right when I go out. If I don't feel happy with what I'm wearing I don't enjoy my day.

@averygirl72 yes there's nothing worse than wearing something you don't feel comfortable in. I remember wearing a skirt I wasn't sure of and it ruined my evening.

I'm also pretty casual. Right now I mostly wear t-shirts and jeans with a cardigan, and almost always wear flip flop shoes. I do own some nicer clothing, and have a pair of clogs and a pair of strap on Mary Jane shoes for when I need to be less formal, but I go for comfort rather than glamour these days.

@spiderdust I've never been able to wear flip flops because they rub between my toes and make them bleed.. I do envy people who can.

@sprite1950 I usually can't wear them either... I can only wear the Rainbow brand ones or Crocs flip flops. All the others fit me badly and blister between my toes.

I am also a casual dresser. Just shirt and jeans. It's only on occasions that dress up. If it's a special occasion, I really would dress up. Otherwise, I'd still be on my jeans and shirt/polo shirt.

@jainaproudmoore when I go somewhere special I can't wait to get home and change into my comfortable clothes!

@sprite1950 true! I prefer comfort over anything lavish.

Due to religious beliefs, I always have a skirt on. Many times it might be a Jean skirt and Tennis shoes and a Tshirt though.

As long as you are comfortable that's what counts

I dress up casually too, mostly pant and a shirt or t shirt. I wear pant suits on occasions Recently I picked up a shrug that went well with my pant and shirt.

@Funkrocker I think most people do these days although I see some older people who like to look smart when they go out.
