What's the importance of a relationship if...?

I woke up so early today. I am still so bothered with my friend's rant last night. She seems so restless and cannot even calm herself. According to her story, her partner is not listening to some personal rants. She was heartbroken because the relationship to her partner is so important. But then, the partner had claimed that he cannot always be the same person who listens to her rants. What is really a relationship if she cannot share her personal rants to him? Since they are in a relationship, the partner should always be there and know what's bothering her. That's what make her think if the relationship is in big trouble now. Do you think we need to conceal our personal rants?

Most men I know of didn't like to hear rants. She must try to be sweet especially when his partner is tired if she wants a healthy relationship. Or... the guy will find another. I am a good listener but I hate to hear or read rants all the time too. I like a guy who can laugh when things are tough instead of ranting.

Let me tell her this. I guess she was just want to share things up. Besides, they don't talk much and most of the time, they can just connect through a phone. It is an LDR.

@Shavkat I understand. I used to share everything to my ex ex ex (hehe) too but that's the reason why they were gone. I learned to keep silent because I knew no one cares.

Communication is so important. You should be in a relationship with somebody you can talk to and who know it always there for you. Without communication the relationship can't grow.

I have also such notion. What's the importance of having a relationship who is not committed to hear of what the partner would say.

Depends on the rant, there are some things that ain't worth the fight, and especially when the other does not reciprocate

I think she was ranting about other people that affect her. But then, she felt frustrated because her partner ignored her.
