My kids don't really like the sweet-spicy Filipino-style spaghetti but I'm badly craving for it, so that's what I'll make for lunch today! Hee hee :o) To those who aren't familiar with the Pinoy spaghetti: We use red tomato-based sauce or banana ketchup (that's been colored red! LOL). We add plenty of hotdog slices, some ground pork or beef, and grated processed cheese. That's it! How do you make your spaghetti?

We just had spaghetti for breakfast. Delmonte Filipino style sauce with ground pork, hotdogs and mushroom. Yum!

I do not like spaghetti so I do not eat it. My daughter likes her spaghetti noodles plain with just butter and Parmesan cheese. My son likes his with red pasta sauce and Parmesan cheese.

Mine is more my style. My mom got local palate, she would be more satisfy with the food if I adjust the recipe a bit. Instead of normal italian way tomato sauce, I make it a bit more spicy. I also add hotdogs, chicken cubes and more veggies like carrot. If it's carbonara, I just add more pepper.
