Kansas Shooting: Is it isolated incident or reflection of majority's mind?

The Kansas shooting incident is the headline for couple of days in Indian News paper. The shooter said 'Leave our country' or so and killed the student and injured another.. In reaction to that event, Some survey say Students who want to go US for higher studies are now afraid. Some of them changed their mind and planning for other countries. I assume that this incident is an isolated one. Although, few of Trump's decision may fuel into such kind of incidents but my faith is on common people and I hope commoners will come forward and protest against it.
