Gimme Some Noize!!!

I live in an old house on one of the busiest corners in town. When I moved here about three-and-a-half years ago, it didn't bother me all that much with all the traffic that goes in all directions. Thing is, I'm also 2 blocks away from one of the fire stations and about 4 blocks from a company that builds fences. At least 3 times per day, a fire truck heads in my direction when it is going out on a run. Then there are semi trucks that go back and forth for the fence company. Every once in awhile, I'll hear a car or pick up truck that is zooming as fast as it can to get through the light before it turns red. To top it all off, I am about 7 or 8 blocks from a railroad track. I swear I can hear a train coming from miles and miles away!! There is nothing that I can do about all this truck and car and train traffic. BUT I can move away from this corner!! It's just TOO NOISY!!
