Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown who was released by the team on February 7, 2017 has been in contact with several teams in the National Football League. The Dallas Cowboys are interested in acquiring McCown who is now a free agent to work as the second string quarterback behind quarterback Dak Prescott in 2017. The catch is that the Cowboys would have to either trade or lease their current second string quarterback Tony Romo. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has not decided whether he will release Romo or trade him to another team by the time free agency begins on March 9, 2017. In the meantime McCown, 37, will be seeking which team in the National Football League he wants to play for next football season if the Cowboys deal falls through.

This may be the last hurrah at McCown's age.

Where do you think Romo will land? I could see him possibly in San Fransisco since they let Colin Kapernick go. He wants to go to a contender team, not sure how many of them are looking for a qb at this time. Maybe Denver ?

@Deepizzaguy I hadn't thought of the Texans but that makes sense. We'll have to wait and see where he goes.
