Former Montreal Aloulettes and Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman has been hired by the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League on Monday. Trestman had been the head coach of the Montreal Aloulettes from 2008-2012 before he was hired before the start of the 2013 football season by the Chicago Bears to replace Lovie Smith who had been fired at the end of the 2012 football season despite having a 10 wins and six losses regular season record but the Bears did not qualify to enter the playoffs in 2012. Trestman was the head coach of the Chicago Bears from 2013-2014 before he was fired at the end of the 2014 football season to be replaced by John Fox. Trestman was the offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens from 2015-2016 before he was terminated by the Ravens on October 10, 2016. Trestman was a candidate to be the offensive coordinator with the Los Angeles Rams before Matt LeFleur was hired to work on the coaching staff of Sean McVay in the 2017 football season. Now Trestman will be the head coach of the rival of the Montreal Aloulettes in 2017 in the Canadian Football League.

An NFL bust but better in the CFL.

Yes since Marc is better suited to coach in the CFL which is more challenging than the NFL.
