Today is my dad's and uncle birthdays. Don't talk to my dad and barely speak to my uncle. But I always wish a happy birthday. Also, Dean and I made a cake today as you see in the picture. My husband criticizes my baking and cooking all the time and it hurts me and tonight he criticized the cake because it stuck to the pan even after spraying the pan. Whatever but he frosted it. Tomorrow I have my energy assistance appointment for my electric bill. Yippee. Not lol. How is everyone doing tonight? Tomorrow is the last day to earn. I didn't make it to $10 this month but made the suggestions list twice. I am almost half way to getting my iPhone unlocked. Well, gonna go for now .Ttyl

i'm that way, too @jstory07, especially if i'm not the one who shopped and did all the work. in fact, i would even volunteer to wash after the meal.

I think the cake looks great, don't feel bad. Did he think the cake was tasty?

I have never understood why a person would criticize someone else's cooking. It only reflects badly on them and their upbringing.

it's sad that he's always critical. i don't mind if it stuck to the pan, as long as it's not burnt and tastes bitter. so what kind of cake is it?

Some people just like to criticize others. They find fault in everything. The cooks looks great and even if it stuck to the pan as long as it tasted great then that is all that matters.
