Having trouble attaching photographs to my discussions

I am new to myLot and so I may be doing something wrong.... I have put up a few discussions today that include photographs. The problem is that the photos are not appearing in the discussion! They aren't big files - less than 300kb in filesize and 800px or less on the long edge. I was successful in getting a panorama loaded which was 1024px on the long edge.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a preferred size for images? I'm confused....

There is a glitch going on today. You are not the only one saying there is a problem. Welcome to mylot and usually its not like this. Tomorrow will be a better day...maybe.

@WanderPhotog - Yeah. I tried. It looked funky! I tried again later. It showed up! There's something screwy going on in lots of places around the web. I'm at different sites and the photo thing is glitching like crazy. At one site, my stuff disappeared completely. I checked and the owners say they're working on it! It's one of those days.

Usually they would work just fine but today there is something wrong on the site. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Welcome to MyLot by the way! =)
