Day 174 Proverbs 18:13 Proverbs 18:13 He that answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame unto him. How often have you finished someone else’s sentence, believing you know what they are going to say? Sometimes it’s hard not to do that because you know the person so well. How many times when you did, were you told that was what they were going to say? Solomon knew the folly finishing a sentence brought, he heard it many times as we all do, and might have done it himself. Only one person knows the end from the beginning, what you will say and do, and that is God. It’s not easy, but you need to learn patience and wait for the person to finish speaking before saying anything. Let’s pray: Father, give me patience and not interrupt a person before they finish speaking so I will know the whole matter and not assume I know. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
