She's beautiful inside and out. I used to volunteer at the VA hospital before germ fears made it too hard. A friend of mine has a Sheba Inu. It is an interesting - cat-like dog

Your daughter in law worked in the White House? The only volunteering I did was what I was a teenager and had to do it for a senior project. I chose to volunteer at the hospital that about a year later I started working at. While my kids were at school this year I had planned to looking for ways to do some volunteering but then I had to start cyber school with my son so I did not get a chance to.

Yes, she was there with Monica Lewinsky. My dad always said that charity begins at home. I used to do all sorts of volunteering, but now I am enjoying life.

@DianneN I know, how does she find the time? I'm with the kids most of the time except when they are actually in school . . . if I did all that, I would get no sleep! Does your DIL sleep?

@much2say Most is done when the kids are in school. My son babysits in the evenings. Right now, he's in Dubai and her parents are in India. I guess she has to use her sitter more now. It's hard to be in more than one place at a time. My son lets her sleep on weekends. Lol!

She's an amazing woman! I truly know those are what makes her endeared to all of you, the more. No, I don't have volunteer works. I really have no more time for that, because I have my full- time job. Maybe when I am retired already.

@DianneN I don't really get out and volunteer much.. but if an opportunity arises at work I'll try to help out. Last year I did a community clean up project through work... I've done some things around our community and mostly through the school. Marching Band sort of forces us to volunteer, as do the sports boosters... so that's mainly what I do..

That's what I used to do, in addition to volunteering in teaching reading in our local school. I've done lots of fundraisers and charity work. That woman is my son's wife and the mother of my grandchildren. I don't know how she juggles it all.
