Tornadoes in Hickory?

An acquaintance of mine lives in the mountainous areas of our state. He wrote on facebook that there were strong winds and storms around him. This was several hours ago now. I woke up almost an hour ago now and heard something about tornadoes in Hickory. Hickory is probably an hour and a half, probably a little less from me. I don't know if it was a watch or a warning. At any rate, I can never remember the difference between the two. I know several other mylotters have had severe storms and threats of tornadoes the past few days. I suppose it's our turn here. While I wouldn't mind the rain and thunder, I do hope that the hail and wind stays away. Ah and there the thunder is now. Talk later.
