Are liquid fertilizers good for bamboo plants?

I have a bamboo plant which is 6 months old. I am giving liquid fertilizer which is an organic fertilizer every 3 days in the bamboo plant. While one or two stems are growing some are becoming yellow. Are liquid fertilizers good for growth of bamboo plants?
