So here I am writing this post while drinking a cup of coffee. I have to visit the vet today for one of my cats injection. It's already a couple of days late but I am only free today. I'll also need to make sure she stays inside the carrier this time. The last time I brought her to the vet, which was also her first time, she escaped, ran around the clinic, making havoc and pee almost everywhere. I knew she freak out, which was why I didn't get angry at her. But it was still embarrassing and I apologized profusely to the vet. He was cool about it and said things like that was normal.
I still didn't feel better.
Hopefully everything will be going on smoothly today *fingers crossed*
I think I'll refill my coffee first. I need that.

@Cristi_Ichim no, it's to prevent the cat from being pregnant.

Hi Ingrid. I was not active here in a pretty long time.
Notlilie, is the cat pregnant or did I get that wrong?

@prinzcy Well, just have a look at the dates of your posts and see the time distance between them.

One of my friends works at a vet clinic. Don't feel bad, It would seem that pets getting out and running around is quite common. What kind of cat do you have?

The first time Alex (my puppy) visit the vet he was so happy running around and then later on pee on the mat. I was so embarrassed too. But the vet said that the mats are especially for puppies that can't hold their bladder at all. The next time we did visit the vet he was still happy running around even after his first injection. But no accident this time.

@prinzcy I put Alex in a weave basket. Alex doesn't like his carrier. He's stressed with it.

Always good to wake up with coffee especially if you are taking a nervous cat to the vet! Hope all went well!

Patience is key with animals. Hang in there and enjoy your coffee. It will be alright.
