I replied that the law of supply and demand is at work here. As long as there is a desire there will be a supply. This family member's son overdosed on Heroin and was fortunate enough to walk out of the ER, only to go get high again. His parents turned from using pot to Tweak because it doesn't show up on the drug tests. The ultimate weapon in the war on drugs is to teach our fellow citizens that no matter what life throws at you, you don't need drugs. I was scared sober because my father was a mean and satistic drunk! Hopefully, parents can teach and be an example in a more loving way.

Yes, there needs to be Better solutions out there to help people to choose to not turn to these. Unfortunately because people persuade you especially parents helps keep some from going to them. All we can do is lead by example and hope they will in turn follow.
